Inventing the infrastructure software for hyperscale AI
With the growing interest in LLMs and generative AI, many people are struggling to build and utilize large-scale AI infrastructure with thousands or more accelerators. The most difficult challenges in AI technology are now a variety of infrastructure-level problems such as parallelization, disaggregation, cluster scalability, performance optimization, and failover. Founded in 2020, we are committed to accelerating the advancement of AI technology by solving these problems with innovative software technologies.

The success of AI technology has been made possible by an open ecosystem, diverse participants, and the accumulation of collective experience. However, hyperscale AI models are now being developed and served by only a few companies with the capability to leverage large-scale infrastructure. Our mission is to remove the technical barriers to infrastructure and make future AI technology more accessible to a wide range of customers.

Gangwon Jo
CEO, Co-Founder
Gangwon is the founding engineer of Moreh and leads the company. He has 10+ years of research experience in HPC. He was the lead architect of Chundoong, Korea’s first GPU supercomputer built in 2012. PhD in EECS from Seoul National University. BS in CSE from Seoul National University.
Wookeun Jung
CTO
Wookeun leads developing an innovative AI software stack. Prior to Moreh, he worked on the research of highly optimized and scalable deep learning frameworks. PhD in EECS from Seoul National University. BS in CSE from Seoul National University.
Hyunggeun (HG) Jo
Chief Strategy Officer
HG leads business strategy and operations of the company. He worked 10 years as a consultant at Bain & Company and provided services to leading tech, telecom, and media groups in Korea, India, and the US. He worked as COO and CFO for 9+ years at Korean tech companies. MS from KAIST. BS from Yonsei University.
Jaejin Lee
Advisor, Co-Founder
Jaejin is a technical advisor of Moreh. He is a professor in Dept. of CSE and the dean of Graduate School of Data Science at Seoul National University. He leads the Thunder Research Group at SNU, a birthplace of remarkable GPU supercomputers and their software. He is an IEEE fellow. PhD in CS from UIUC. MS in CS from Stanford. BS in Physics from SNU.
